Code:

This adult manikin is a great trainer for introductory as well as advanced students.

This adult manikin is a great trainer for introductory as well as advanced students. This unit includes a three-color light controller which indicates acceptable levels. Red light indicates improper hand placement, yellow light signals proper compression depth, green light signals proper ventilation volume. Child CPR can be practiced by changing the compression springs and flipping the switch on the light controller. Includes four C batteries. Manikin simulates a nonanesthetized patient for practicing intubation, ventilation, suction, and CPR techniques. Realistic anatomy and landmarks include teeth, tongue, oral and nasal pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, arytenoids, false cords, true vocal cords, trachea, lungs, esophagus, and stomach. The manikin allows you to practice oral, digital, and nasal intubation, as well as E.T., E.O.A., P.T.L., L.M.A., E.G.T.A., Combitube®, and King System insertion. Suction techniques and proper cuff inflation may also be practiced and evaluated. Applying pressure to the cricoid cartilage changes the position of the trachea and closes the esophagus, allowing realistic practice of the Sellick maneuver. Manual carotid pulse. Manikin includes hard carry case and supplies. When using an electronic unit, select one of four modes (compression rate, compression depth, ventilation duration, ventilation volume) by pushing indicator switch. The performance of each skill is displayed separately while averages are stored in the memory (Printer and Memory Units only). Units are designed to automatically switch between compression and ventilation modes. Five-year warranty.
